HSAEM LogoWelcome to the new website for the Epsilon Mu (εμ) chapter of the Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society. Eta Sigma Alpha (ΗΣΑ) was established in 1999 as the first honor society specifically for home schooled students. Our chapter serves the Greensboro, High Point, and surrounding areas of North Carolina.

Our honor society recognizes scholarship among our high school students. Only those students meeting specific scholarship criteria may apply. These requirements are stringently applied to assure that membership indicates a level of achievement that commands respect. More information may be found under the MEMBERSHIP tab.

In addition to recognizing academic achievement in our home school community, our purpose is to promote continued scholarship, provide opportunities to develop leadership, and to develop citizenship through community service activities. These key areas are further discussed under the appropriate tabs. Our goal is to foster growth in these areas so that our students may excel and be a positive force in the adult world they are about to join. so that our students may excel and be a positive force in the adult world they are about to join.
